Santa Sax and his alter ego Shadow Sax are performance styles of Worcestershire saxophonist Thomas Hinks.

As Santa Sax, Thomas performs a wide variety of jazzy Christmas classics from Jingle Bells to A Fairytale Of New York, and from Santa Baby to Last Christmas, all on mellow tenor sax and in full Santa suit. Over 40 different Christmas songs totalling well over 2 and a quarter hours of music.  With purpose grown bushy (whitened) beard Santa Sax REALLY looks the part!  It's a crazy time of year and he's always in demand so book early!

As Shadow Sax, Thomas performs your choice of jazz standards/show tunes and/or pop through the decades, or any mix thereof on both tenor and alto saxophones.  He also has a set of WWII war years songs for those occasions that suit them.

Thomas is fully self-contained with professional, battery powered gear, meaning access to a power socket isn't required, and there are no trip-hazard cables to contend with.  He also has stage lights when required (power access needed), and a mini gazebo for events outdoors.

Thomas is available full time, any day of the week, and performs week in week out in gastro pubs, restaurants, hotels, care homes, retirement villages, and at corporate events, weddings, parties, and garden parties.

He played 2 special charity events for the previous mayor of Redditch, and performed at the Redditch Business Awards at the Palace theatre in October last year (hosted by Lemar), and also on the main stage at the Redditch Christmas lights switch on and entertainment extravaganza (shorty before Peter Andre) last November.

He also recently performed for 2 nights at the CBS (Ricoh) Arena in Coventry for the prestigious Goliath Poker Tournament (The biggest Poker tournament outside Las Vegas).

Hailing from Worcestershire, Thomas plays regularly around the wider Midlands region, and will always consider bookings further afield where practicable.

Thomas also leads his own jazz quartet (Jazz Alchemy: sax, double bass, drums, and piano/vocals), and can offer a jazz duo as well (sax and guitar/bass)
